Connecting with other photographers

COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION

Yes I know this saying is pretty cliquey. If you change your mindset of everyone is out to get you, your business could potentially grows as a result of you deciding to put that saying into fruition. I have built friendships I know have the same goals as myself, so that pushes us both to get to the finish line. Here are some ways to get more connected into your photography community:

  1. ATTEND Content Days!

I have not only attended but hosted quite a few content days and have made friendships with incredible women that dream just as big as I do. RESEARCH through social media. Once your down that rabbit hole, you will find quite a few opportunities to get involved.

  2. HOST a Content Day!

Its sounds intimidating, but get that foot in the door. Reach out to models, florists, planners, other photographers, ect. All of that is a part of building your brand and getting it out there.

  3. Second Shoot!

As I talked about in "Why it is Important to Second Shoot , reaching out to local photographers in your area can really build yourself a photography community. Spending 6+ hours with someone, close at the hip, can really bond a friendship.
