Traveling to build a portfolio

FAKE it till you MAKE it

If you're looking to become a TRAVELING wedding/couples photographer, you have to literally become one first. Let me explain…

Nobody is gonna know you travel if have it in your name, but never do. Actions go a long way and advertising real life travel content will get you the business you are looking for. It’s authentic!

1.Travel once every couple months

I know realistically, traveling can be pretty expensive. But in the business world, you have to sometimes take risks to get to where you want to be. Which brings me to my next point.

2. Spend money to make money!

Spending money on traveling can bring the ideal clients your way. Putting your work out there tagging different locations will attract clients looking for the destination vibe. It may be tough at first, but the pay off makes it all worth it.

3. Expanding your portfolio

Having the same scenic background in every photo is not ideal if you are wanting to extend your horizons. Posting neutral desert couple session, then follow that up with luscious tropical couple session, and continue to change the flow by posting a green forest couple session.. The list goes on and on. But the more diverse you advertise, the more potential clients will see you do what you say you do… TRAVEL!
